Ryan Stewart concentrates his practice on business and commercial litigation matters and employment cases. Ryan has represented small and closely-held businesses, large, publicly-traded companies, executives, business owners, and employees in all manner of business disputes. Ryan has also represented both companies and employees in matters involving trade secrets and non-compete agreements. In addition to handling commercial litigation cases and disputes arising in the employment context, Ryan has experience in other areas, including construction litigation, products liability, real estate litigation, and general liability.
Ryan is experienced with trial and appellate work, motions practice, and all aspects of the discovery process, including complex and electronic discovery. He is also active in pro bono work.
Ryan was selected by Super Lawyers to the 2018 Pennsylvania Rising Stars list in Business Litigation. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in Pennsylvania are selected to receive this honor.
Ryan earned his B.A., cum laude and with High Departmental Honors, from Grove City College and his J.D. at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. While in law school, Ryan represented low-income older adults in a variety of legal matters through the University of Pittsburgh’s Elder Law Clinic. He also received the Murray S. Love Award for outstanding participation in trial advocacy programs, was an Articles Editor for the Pittsburgh Journal of Environmental and Public Health Law, and was a Teaching Assistant for Legal Writing courses.
