Lori Miller is a partner with Rothman Gordon focusing her practice on employment, commercial and general business litigation and commercial and residential real estate. She has extensive experience representing individuals and business clients in bench and jury trials in both state and federal court and in agency hearings, mediations, arbitrations and negotiations. She represents individuals in litigation involving discrimination, unemployment and contract disputes. With regard to her business clients, she represents and advises small business owners regarding contracts, including employment agreements and service agreements, and collection matters. Lori’s real estate practice includes transactional work, such as drafting declarations and bylaws for developers and condominium associations and drafting and negotiating sales agreements and loan documents for real estate purchases and sales. She also litigates real estate issues including landlord and tenant, breach of lease and sales agreements and tax assessment appeals.
Lori has taught legal and policy issues at Mercyhurst College, has clerked for the Honorable John S. Kennedy in the 19th District and currently serves as legal counsel for the Dick’s Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon.
In 1996, Lori received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh and in 2000, her J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University. She is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Erie County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. She is also a member of the National Employment Lawyer’s Association (NELA) and its local chapter WPELA.
