Rothman Gordon Today
When Benjamin Rothman, Meyer Gordon and Herman Foreman founded the firm back in 1954, the field of law was more straightforward - you served clients to the best of your ability, providing advice and counsel with a personal touch, when they needed it. Over the years, the legal field has become more complex, with new practice areas developing in response to the widening global economy, a more complex business environment that affects companies and individuals alike, and of course, the advent of the Internet. Today, law is often viewed as a money-making business venture rather than a profession, and, in the mad rush to have the latest technology, the trendiest marketing, or the biggest bottom line, the client is sometimes lost in the shuffle.
It is an ongoing practice at Rothman Gordon to contemplate how we define success. We concluded that the satisfaction of our clients is the truest measure of success and have made a conscious decision to balance the amazing advances made in our field with the traditional commitment to the practice of law that drew our professionals to become lawyers in the first place. We resolve not to be the biggest or the flashiest firm, but to remain Just Right.
